Is that Lick Observatory? If it is, I was just up there a week ago! They opened up the whole place for us, and when it got dark out, they even let us look through the huge 55-ft telescope! Such a nice drive, too.

Lick it is. It was closed today but I've been here before when it was open and got to check out the exhibits and sat in on a tour of the main telescope. Going at night sounds rad, I'd really like to do that sometime. Also yeah, the drive a religious experience.
